Celine’s Play Therapy Services
Play therapy taps into a child’s innate language of play, allowing them to express and overcome psychosocial challenges, fostering their optimal growth.
WHAT IS PLAY THERAPY?
Play therapy provides children with a safe space to explore, understand, and process their real-life experiences using the metaphor of play and fantasy.
Children, unlike adults, often find it challenging to articulate their experiences verbally. As a result, talking therapies may not be the most effective approach for this age group.
Play therapy supports children with:
- Anxiety or depression
- Loss and separation
- Attachment disorders
- Processing trauma
- Special educational needs such as ASD, ADHD etc
- Processing difficult emotions such as anger
- Bullying and self-esteem
- Emotional Regulation

THE POWER OF PLAY
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning”
